SCA CBT Instructor (FBCB2)

Job Description:
Plans, develops, coordinates and provides a program of instruction for the Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2), Blue Force Tracker (BFT), and Enhanced Position Location (EPLRS) based pieces of equipment. Primary duties include execution of a Program of Instruction of training sessions for operator sustainment and leader training. Instructor duties include preparation of training materials, delivery of instruction and training of other trainers by sharing technical expertise. In addition, may conduct formal training of Soldiers in all facets of battle staff integration as well as Command Post of the Future (CPOF) familiarization training. Also, evaluates training materials and procedures and makes recommendations for revisions to keep the course abreast of hardware, software and emerging doctrine changes. Maintains class records, writes, administers, and scores tests for certification. Provides counsel to young staff officers and NCOs. An understanding of integration of Army Battle Command Systems is desired.

Requirements:
Extensive experience in the use and instruction of FBCB2 and BFT. Shall understand US Army command and control structure with emphasis on the movement and maneuver warfighting function. Shall have instructor experience with small groups up to 25 personnel. Certified instructor a plus. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Assets:
Knowledge of command control procedures at the battalion or above level. TOC experience a must. Professional experience in the planning and development of training courses. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of educational theory, principles and practices a plus. CPOF experience is a plus.
