Network Support Technician - Senior

Duties:
Reviews, plans, and evaluates network systems. Configures network devices providing LAN connectivity. Troubleshoots network systems and recommends improvements. Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting. Provides tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects. Performs a variety of tasks. May perform functions as a team lead in charge of a group. Understands the implications of configuration changes on network devices and recommends solutions based on experience. Has network design experience.

Must be familiar with both Cisco and Foundry products. Configures and maintains network monitoring software. Has advanced experience and understanding of network protocols. Understands basic server related requirements to support applications utilizing the network. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level technical expert. Typically reports to a senior engineer or manager.

Requirements:
Security +, CCNA or Associates Degree preferred, 3-5 years experience.

Clearance:
The candidate must be able to obtain and retain a secret clearance.

Fort Stewart, Georgia
